A Fistful of Rubbish
Synopsis: This Western environmental documentary is set in the Tabernas Desert in Spain, Europe’s only desert. Known for being the backdrop of many famous Western films, sadly, the area is being trashed. But now, with the help of some locals, an English ex-pat is forming a posse and taking things into his own hands. Literally.

Director's Statement
It’s time for inspiration when it comes to environmental issues. For me, humor is an important factor in education and raising awareness. This film is not simply about highlighting an issue, it is about raising the consciousness of people around the world to take action in addressing problems in their own community. The world needs environmental heroes now more than ever, and given the historical cinematic setting, I wanted to use the Western motif as a device to exaggerate this idea in an entertaining way.
