He believes that documentary filmmaking is an important and vital art, and relishes his role as one of the curators of the local American history and narrative. After spending 20 years behind the camera for PBS, ABC, NBC and Fox, David has won numerous awards, garnering five regional Emmys and thirteen more Emmy nominations. Three of David’s films have aired on PBS stations across the country.
