I am a filmmaker with a lot of dreams, literally. I would wake up the next morning with a fresh idea of a story. And that is how ‘Dark Light’ was born. However it wasn’t with the help of an event that happened many years ago. Something that I have seen in my own eyes.
I once walked into a district which had illegal activities going on. I witnessed something which could be described as part of an action drama. I couldn’t believe I was in a middle of it. But these activities slowly died, thanks to our authorities. Though I had always wondered how it would be if this place still exist and hence ‘Dark Light’ was conceptualised.
The next thing to figure out was whose story is this going to be. I realise it would be interesting to tell this story in the eyes of an outsider in this instance, a foreigner.
A passionate filmmaker who loves great storytelling ideas. Worked in the TV industry for a few years before making his first short film and entering film festivals. He honed his skills as a director when he pursued a Masters in Directing at the MET Film School in London. Upon which, he made his first short film in Europe which bagged him 6 awards and 30 over selections. He has ever since won numerous awards in film festivals worldwide. He has been actively engaging in freelance roles, short film projects, meeting passionate people like himself and continuously looking to be part of the creative industry.
His next milestone would be to direct his first feature and possibly to more in the future.
