Synopsis: Isolation is a 4-minute short detailing the fear, confusion and uncertainty brought on by the pandemic, from the perspective of a teenager. The film stars Andreas Rothbart, who is also the film’s 18-year old writer-director. The intensely personal journey is juxtaposed against the confusion and mixed messages from the media and political leaders.
The film Isolation tackles the enormous psychological and emotional toll that the pandemic has imparted on the younger generation. The tremendous anxiety and constant fear of the unknown is portrayed in this film, while also highlighting the dire health risks of the Covid-19 virus.
