Synopsis: Jake and Kris are newly engaged. During a party meant to celebrate the occasion, Jake hides away in the room; social situations can feel overwhelming to him. She convinces him to join the party, but he still keeps away from the main festivities. When an unexpected guest shows up, Jake is suddenly possessed by surprising feelings of jealousy. After he causes a giant scene at the party, he will have to delve deep within himself to find the source of these negative emotions, or risk losing the woman of his dreams.

Being fully enveloped in a character’s emotional state is only fully achievable in film. The grammar of the medium can give us a visceral empathy, which allowed for more honest self-reflection. Jake’s jealousies are out jealousies (with only cosmetic differences). His trauma is out trauma. His journey, ours.
