Synopsis: With the United States’ entry into the First World War, Walter Haen and his younger brother Jonathan find themselves ripped away from their peaceful lives in the North-woods of Minnesota. Plunged into the blood and mud on the western front, the brothers sole objective is to make it home alive.

History has been a love of mine since I can remember. I have always gravitated towards military history, I believe, because the stakes are so intrinsically high. Not just in the grander scheme of the great campaigns and legendary battles, but also in the trials of the individual; the inhuman suffering born by so many young soldiers. It is my hope that this film is able to portray just one of a million such stories and give homage to a proverb not often enough repeated.
“Wars Glory is All Moonshine.”
– William Tecumseh Sherman
