Director's Statement

Horses Cry Too is inspired by my work as a spiritual teacher and counselor with Equine Assisted Therapy sessions. I grew up on horses so when I was asked to be a part of an Equine Assisted Therapy team, I was overjoyed. Over the years, we who were a part of the Equine Assisted Therapy teams have utilized various exercises from integrated 12 Step exercises to various other approaches to guide humans into experiences of healing with horses.

This Horses Cry Too is the short film version of a larger full length screenplay that I hope to produce and direct some day. Overall, I am hopeful that the Horse Cry Too short film will inspire other people to consider the amazing possibilities of exploring healing with horses.
