Director's Statement
“Horrocks, your nothing but a bloody dreamer lad, get your head out of the clouds” was screamed at me on a regular basis at school.
But I have always had the desire to create and inspire as my piers have for me. So I will continue to dream and live amongst the clouds in hope that what I create will inspire someone to do the same.
Director's Bio
After ten years as a professional jockey, visual director Nathan has an eye for a stride to ensure the perfect take on camera. Combining his two passions – film and horses – Nathan brings credibility, authenticity and a wealth of industry knowledge to the creative process at EP. After finding himself constantly frustrated with the undervalued visual output of his sport, in comparison to other sports, Nathan had aspirations to engage those familiar, and unfamiliar with the equestrian world, through the use of film.
The vision to reach out beyond the core audience, and portray the sport in a fresh light, inspiring those new to horses, is a strong focus of Nathan’s life.
