Synopsis: A Pray is an experimental short film aims to convey the emptiness of all by presenting an abstract physical (and psychological) connection between two performers, using simple Buddhist symbols.

Director's Statement
Working mostly in moving image, animation and performance, Qi Zhuang conveys and studies the theory and practice of Tibetan Buddhism. She deeply advocates the truth of the emptiness. She aims to reconnect mythology with artistic traditions and contemporary audiences through her original, raw language.
Director's Bio
Qi Zhuang is an interdisciplinary artist and a communicator, that two identities often overlap. Her work draws on personal experiences, and more recently, she has been deepening her spiritual communion with other groups and individuals.
Qi is currently studying MA Experimental Animation at the Royal College of Art. and graduated with a first class Honours degree in Illustration Animation from Kingston University. Her work has been exhibited in Moscow, New York, London, Singapore, Paro, East China and North India.
