Director's Statement
As writer and director, I made this film because I am horrified and saddened by the ever increasing amount of bullying, exclusion, and gun violence in America’s schools. We had just begun casting SURVIVING LUNCH when the school shootings at Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida occurred. Unfortunately, the film continues to be timely, as America is faced with mass shootings that continue unabated.
