Synopsis: For Lucy to remember what happened to her, she must first face her fears. ‘Where is Lucy?’ is a Christmas story of a young soul searching for the truth. Tormented by her thoughts, not knowing what they mean, the more she understands the more scared she becomes. She can’t accept that an horrific car crash has separated her from her family. She follows her memories, guided by a tiny angel. Little does Lucy know she must be truly lost in order to be found.

I am immensely proud of the entire cast and crew of ‘Where is Lucy?’, especially of 11-year-old Eva Petersson who plays the lead role of Lucy. Despite challenging Covid restrictions and production delays, we shot and produced the film between March and May of 2021 at locations across Dubai. I am honoured that the jury of Lady Filmmakers has selected this short film for the festival, and this will be its first screening in front of a public audience.
