Synopsis: In the throes of her marriage falling apart, a lonely driver’s ed instructor finds a new beginning, or thinks she has, when she finds a love note in her car, only to learn that renewal can come when you least expect it.

Director's Bio
Amy Lanasa is a writer, director and actor originally from Texas. She received her MFA in Film & Professional Writing from the Film School at Florida State University where she also earned an MA in Theatre Studies with an emphasis in Playwriting.
A short film Amy wrote and directed, THE PERSEPHONE CLAUSE, traveled the film circuit, screening at several internationally recognized festivals. Her plays have been produced across the country and include DRIVE-IN AMERICA (American College Theatre Festival Best Short Play 2001); THE IRIS INCIDENT (Best Play, Center Stage Theatre Fest 2012); BUY ONE, GET FIVE FREE; THE LEDGE; and TWITCH. As an actor, her favorite role was the lovable, pot-selling funeral home worker, Melody Semple, in Mark Medoff’s film REFUGE, starring Linda Hamilton.
Amy has won both the Patricia Christmore and Donald C. Roush Teaching Awards for excellence in teaching at New Mexico State University, where she is currently an associate professor and serves as Department Head of the Creative Media Institute.
