All filmmakers participated in The Representation Project’s Youth Media Academy in Oakland, California in the summer of 2019.
Susana Torres is an 18-year recent high-school graduate, living in San Leandro, California with her family. She loves to watch documentaries and movies.
Isabel Lozano is a 16-year old Mexican-American high school student. She likes to listen to BTS and is into art, music & photography. She hopes that audiences will connect with Joselyn’s story and that this topic is important to talk about especially with what’s going on with immigration and Trump.
Nattaly Gomez is a Mexican-America high school student going into her senior year. She likes to take pictures and she is a goofy person. She likes to listen to music and edit photos/videos.
Leonie Sarath is a Cambodian-American high school student going into her junior year. She likes to watch dramas, she is very outgoing, and she is INTO K-pop music such as BTS.
Griselda Martinez is a recent high school graduate. She enjoys playing piano and singing during her free time. She enjoys going out and being active.
