JLee MacKenzie became a filmmaker after working as a prison movie projectionist where he would project movies onto a wall for prisoners to watch. He has a BFA in creative media from Champlain College and is currently pursuing his MFA in film production at USC School of Cinematic Arts on a George Lucas Scholarship.
