Director's Statement
Being my music video debut as an unsigned Director, I was ecstatic to be given full creative control by the band.
After countless repeat listens to the track I was struck by the relentless energy and dark undertones, and combined with the lyrical themes and phrases I knew a narrative piece was the way to go.
I’ve always been a huge fan of work with a darker, potentially controversial nature, and I was happy that the band were willing to follow me down that route, giving the story a topical twist that hopefully causes a few repeat viewings.
It was written and planned in just over a month, then shot in 2 days with an incredible crew, on a micro-budget of just £2,800.
