Director's Statement

I directed this film to show the detriment assumptions can cause even if meant with good intentions. While struggling with money issues himself, the protagonist finds a place in his heart for the low-income family. He decides to give them his winning lottery ticket as an act of kindness and empathy. Although given with the best intentions, he assumes that the family is in need of money and is then faced with the bitter truth as he watches them get into an expensive BMW. This film is Jonathan Brunn’s debut as an actor and was shot with a minimal budget.
