Synopsis: Logline:
Tanya realizes she’s asexual and the highly sexually charged world she lives in as an actress and partner begins to fall apart, resembling an unbearable nightmare.

Synopsis:
As Tanya wakes up to the realization that she does not experience sexual attraction the way the majority of the world does, sexualization is thrown at her in everything she does. Who she was no longer fits. As an actor in an industry that perpetuates women’s worth based on sex appeal and an immediate circle of friends are “woke” to female sexual empowerment, her sanity begins to slip away.

Director's Statement

“2 Weeks” is a film about asexuality told in a cinematic, genre-fueled way. It’s about finding courage to own who you are and not letting the pressure of the world take you. I look to many films for inspiration, both horror films and films about misunderstood protagonists, and struggling heroines.

Director's Bio

Victoria Negri is an award-winning filmmaker and ultra marathon runner. Her feature directorial debut, Gold Star — which she wrote, directed, produced and acted in –features Oscar-nominated actor Robert Vaughn in his last on-screen performance. Gold Star won five awards on the festival circuit and was distributed via Turn Key Films on VOD, as well as being released theatrically in New York City, Los Angeles and Boston. The film received an 86% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Film School Rejects said about the film: “The directorial debut of Victoria Negri reveals a confident eye.“ Brief Take named Gold Star one of 2017’s best films by a female director alongside Greta Gerwig’s “Lady Bird.“ Victoria is an ongoing programmer for the Oxford Film Festival and has written pieces on filmmaking for NoFilmSchool, BtchFlicks, Women and Hollywood and The Talkhouse. Victoria is in development on her second feature film ULTRA with Executive Producers David Lowery, James Johnston, and Toby Halbrooks and Producers Jon Read and Allison Carter.
