I wanted to write a love story about living authentically and second chances. Richard lived his entire life trying to ignore the fact that he was gay. Jon wanted to live the high life on the road, and not consider being in a serious relationship. As in life, I wanted to journey along with these characters as they discovered love, and how it would change them.
