Synopsis: Hugh Prescott is an up and coming online reviewer who gets bullied by not only social media, but by those close to him. As Hugh becomes a joke to everyone around him, he starts to turn into something he never expected. How much will he take? Will he let this negativity ruin him? Or will he take a stand?

Director's Statement
Critic is a representation of the world we’re living in now. People get bullied and harassed for their profession, having a different opinion or for being who they are. It’s about living in a world where you feel voiceless and how a person overcomes that.
Director's Bio
Sean O’Brien is a young filmmaker from Long Island, New York. Since childhood, he has had a deep passion for film, television and storytelling. By middle school, he realized that he can make content just like the filmmakers he looked up to. As a teenager, he spent his years making homemade movies and going to film programs. He studied film at Five Towns College and the School of Visual Arts. Usually he is a video editor who loves working in post production. On the side he makes his own short films and helps his friends with their projects as well.
