Synopsis: You think that an epidemic happening in Africa has nothing to do with a small pharmaceutical company in South America trying to grow? Or that a fight between guerrillas inside a country has something to do with the country itself? You think America is the ruler of the world? You think that the insecurity, the economical instability, the immigration, the religious war, the civil wars… You believe that the world wars happen just because? You think the world you see is the real world? Come on man, we all know that there is something else, something hidden. That the threads of life are moved by puppets as well. They have been selling us rotten fish for ages but we haven’t done anything about it.
Look here. There is a forest. There is a building. There is a bed. There is a phone and there is Joseph. We see him start with $2,000 to build a fortune of more than 1 trillion dollar. Joseph becomes the owner of the companies leading each industry around the world, he finances wars, changes in government, makes revolutions, and puts the world on its knees. Not the world you see. The one you don’t.
And Joseph’s goal it’s larger than all of these.
The story follows this man, almost like a monk, in the pieces of world where we are living. He works with his phone, interacting with assistants and with this unknown person called Zeta. The only man that knows Joseph until he let this woman into his life.
This woman is a problem for Joseph. Because he has a clear goal and he doesn’t know how to relate and introduce into a relationship.
But somehow, he will try.

Director's Statement
“EXTERNO is a film where we try to unveil the political, economical and cultural reality that we are seeing in the world, where many of us are losing our moral compass in the un-peaceful pursuit of power. The film is set as the story of a person who tries (and succeeds) conquering the entire world to improve it, with the cost of millions of lives destroyed and bringing the third world war to our planet. Each scene of the film is a manifesto of a reality that is currently happening in the stock market, governments, pharmaceutical industry, food industry, real estate industry, drug trafficking, among other areas that wear a costume to hide a fractured reality of which we would like to pay special attention as an important step for change.
Our wish for this film is to be loud. To provoke reflection, dialogue, and eventually change. It is framed into a story that possesses a highly artistic intensity that was achieved through the hard work of a team of young talented artists who knew how to capture it on film.”
