Director's Statement

As a huge martial arts movie fan, I’ve been watching martial arts movies perhaps even before I learned how to read. Although it sounds cliché, it’s true that martial arts are in Chinese people’s blood. To make a martial arts movie is often times a big dream for Asian filmmakers. I’m no exception. In order to achieve my goal, I’ve been training in Tai Chi and karate for years, with the mind set to make a martial arts movie myself one day. This short film is the first step in my journey.
