Director's Statement

My creative inclinations lean toward genre-based storytelling in the realms of science fiction, subtle horror, and dark comedy. Like most creative storytellers, I am driven by a desire to explore themes that deeply resonate with me. However, I am also very much motivated by an awareness that as long as it remains a novelty for women of colour to participate in many mainstream or certain niche realms there remains much work to be done.
