Synopsis: An apathetic custodian finds themself stuck in a rut at work. Everyday is exactly the same for them. They open up, mop the floors, spray the lockers, then repeat. And the only person willing to listen their diary… or journal… or whatever you call it.
This short film is an expression of how soul crushing it is to do essential work. As much as people tell essential workers they’re important and “thank” them it’s really just words. The true way to thank them is to pay them way more generously. And stop treating them like they’re disposable when there’s not a pandemic. Also if my boss asks I definitely didn’t film this when I should have been working.
