Synopsis: About one in five people will experience an anxiety disorder or depression in their lifetime. If left unchecked, they can be debilitating and take a stranglehold on your life.

The film EXPOSURE follows a young man with depression and anxiety trialling an unusual form of exposure therapy, confronting his worst fears in the most public and embarrassing ways possible. It provides an intimate look at the personal struggles many people face at some point in their lives and practical insight into what it takes to get better.

Director’s Statement: My aim is for this film to provide practical insight into lived experience of mental health issues and how people can overcome. I hope the film can provide practical steps and advice on what people can do to get better and, most importantly, an optimistic outlook that it can happen.

Michael Probert is a passionate advocate for mental health issues. In his first documentary film, he seeks to provide personal insight and practical knowledge on treatment options for people suffering from mental health conditions.
