They have been hiding in the basement of Otto and Gerda’s family. They are discovered, and the parents are arrested. Otto and Gerda decide to help their new friends. Through snow-heavy forests, the four children flee from German soldiers. The goal is to get to Sweden. Life and death are on the line for their escape.
