Director's Bio
Michael Skinner and Jon Michael Shink are the Emmy®-nominated lead producers for Pendragwn Productions, based in Washington, DC. They have collaborated on dozens of films and videos ranging from commercials to feature films to sitcom pilots and have been invited to speak on various aspects of directing, casting, and on the intersection of storytelling and social science research. Their documentary feature, We Are The Ones, a verité film following surgeons in South Sudan who are trying to use medicine as a bridge for peace between their tribes, toured festivals in 2016 and is available on Amazon and iTunes. In 2020, their short film, Solar For All, premiered at the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital. Michael and Jon are passionate about the power of storytelling to change the world. It’s pretty fun too.
