Synopsis: Anyone’s life can fall off the tracks, and sometimes it can be the last person you’d expect…
A dark, gritty narrative music video following a desperate addict with a shocking truth.
Being my music video debut as an unsigned Director, I was ecstatic to be given full creative control by the band.
After countless repeat listens to the track I was struck by the relentless energy and dark undertones, and combined with the lyrical themes and phrases I knew a narrative piece was the way to go.
I’ve always been a huge fan of work with a darker, potentially controversial nature, and I was happy that the band were willing to follow me down that route, giving the story a topical twist that hopefully causes a few repeat viewings.
It was written and planned in just over a month, then shot in 2 days with an incredible crew, on a micro-budget of just £2,800.
A 25 year old unsigned Director from East London.
Currently employed as a Promo Producer at MTV UK, I’ve quickly climbed the ranks, receiving 2 promotions in just under 2 years.
I like to identify as a multi-disciplinary creative, being able to write, direct, self-shoot and edit. I also have years of professional training in graphic design and a background in music composition and performance. Graduated from Kingston University with a degree in Graphic Design & Photography.
