Director's Statement
No Girls Allowed! was a labour of love that came together over the course of 5 years. Our goal has always been to share this film with as many people as possible, as we worked incredibly hard to create an inclusive, diverse message that aligned with our consistently evolving society.
It is a film for those who choose to dance to the beat of their own drum, who dare to stand out, and who have ever been made to feel small or “other” because of it. We want people to know that they are not alone.
As a multifaceted female filmmaker, I strive to create honest stories that illicit empathy, and inspire others too think differently. My purpose as a filmmaker is to challenge an audience to see someone else’s point of view, and to come away with a greater understanding of someone else’s experience by telling entertaining stories with heart.
