Linda Brown is the President and Owner of Indie PR. Ms. Brown’s experience in publicity spans film, television, Internet shows, books, production companies and live theater. For film, Indie PR implements campaigns for studios and independent productions, and Ms. Brown has been recognized for her work at film festivals both domestically and internationally, including being honored for her work at the Sundance Film Festival, when she was highlighted as one of the best publicists to work the festival in their prestigious Sundance Festival Guide. She was also chosen to author a chapter in Chris Gore’s Film Festival Survival Guide, where she explains the dos and don’ts of festival publicity, and ICG Magazine included Ms. Brown in their top five publicists at Sundance that same year.
Ms. Brown often works with films from production through release. Such work includes The Weinstein Company’s Crossing Over with Harrison Ford, the national campaign for The Roommate with Leighton Meester, the Resident Evil series of films, Obsessed starring Beyonce and Ali Larter, Quarantine, Armored, Prom Night, and Vacancy starring Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson, and the Pang Brothers’ thriller The Messengers. Ms. Brown’s corporate entertainment and film festival clients have included Film Festival Flix, Walter Latham Comedy, AFI, IFP, The Slamdance Film Festival, Los Angeles Int’l Film Festival, Daily Variety; Tristar Pictures, Sony Pictures, Screen Gems, STARZ!
