Synopsis: Elías is a 7-year-old boy who faces the abandonment of his mother. Elías lives in a low-income house, for which he must work long hours in the family business: a taqueria in town. His father, José, faces depression and does not know how to communicate with his son, this causes frustration in Elías. Elías decides to escape into his fantasies to feel free and take control of his situation by seeking for his mother until the last consequences.

Maria José Ibarra Valdez is a Mexican woman born in Sinaloa, Mexico. Passionate about cinema from a very young age, she decides to study filmmaking in New York and Mexico City to become a writer and director. Inspired by the emotions and conflicts of the human being, Maria presents her first short film to express the depths of her inner world.
