Matthias Mayr
Austrian freeskier, Matthias Mayr is known for being an aggressive and powerful big mountain skier who’s always looking for new places to ski, especially places where nobody has ever skied before.
Beside skiing extensively throughout Alaska, Chile, Japan, and the European Alps, he has made several first descents in Canada, Russia, Switzerland, and Austria.
His aim is to ski the most beautiful places in the world, like his recent expedition to the remote Island Onekotan.
Apart from skiing, Matthias has a lot of different interests like soccer, biking, beach volley ball, traveling and producing movies – a big part of his life!
