Synopsis: Alice, a beautiful British fashion model in Los Angeles, seems to have it all. But when she tells her manager/boyfriend she is pregnant his true colors come out, telling her to abort the baby in favor of her career. Tired of being his cash cow show pony, Alice drives into the desert where she runs out of gas and enters a dreamy, surrealist world where she meets a mysterious stranger, Tom, who finally brings the change she’s been looking for.

Part thriller, part surrealist drama, and part allegorical character study of the ancient Greek ferryman Charon, Butterfly speaks to layers of the subconscious that perhaps we are not even aware of. What does it take in order to change?

With featured costumes by surrealist Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen, Butterfly is a feast for the senses and also the mind.
