Director's Statement
Earthbound is the product of a year in quarantine. Shot on an iPhone with a homemade green screen studio, it tells the story of two little goofy aliens who steal a spaceship and accidentally abduct a baffled earthling. Camilla not only wrote, directed, and starred in Earthbound, but also animated and executed all the vfx. Earthbound is just the most recent project that explores Camilla’s fascination with space, alien life forms and the endless possibilities of the vast universe. Drawing inspiration from “X-files,” “Mars Attacks,” “Fire in the Sky,” and other sci-fi classics, Camilla dives into big ideas that light up her imagination, and explores them through complex and quirky characters. For her, filmmaking is both a playground loaded with wild creative potential as well as a craft to which Camilla has dedicated her life.
Director's Bio

Raised in the Jotunheimen National Park, Norway, Camilla Wolf earned her degree in Filmmaking from Griffith University, Australia. Her passion for film and TV led her back to Norway where she was cast as Caroline in the hit series “Hotel Caesar,” played Rita Reality in “TV2 Sonen,” as well as appeared in the television series “NRK TOPP 20” as herself/host, and the feature film “Beatles and the Wave.” She started her first production company in 2012 where she produced and directed such projects as Hulderdans and TOR.
Camilla has focused her work on female-driven stories and has fostered a unique and authentic voice as an LGBTQ+ filmmaker. Her two latest projects, “Heartsick” (Executive Producer and lead) and “Earthbound” (Director, animator, and lead) have both received enthusiastic reviews and received multiple nominations, including garnering distribution with Mouse Trap Films/Film Festival Flix. Being first a filmmaker, she is passionate about the craft of storytelling — getting her hands dirty in everything from character animation, vfx, and post production, to acting, directing, and producing.
She is a hustler on both sides of the camera. Camilla is located in Los Angeles, California.
