Synopsis: On September 11, 2001, Ivan Acosta was on his 42nd-floor balcony when the two commercial airlines kidnaped by terrorists flew into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.
Acosta took his home video camera and started recording all the events from the beginning til a few weeks after the terrible historic 9/11.
He kept the footage for 18 years then he decided to put everything together, and with the contribution of the film editor, Mr. Raul Barcelona, the 40 minutes documentary, Detras de mis ojos, was completed.
Mr. Ivan Acosta dedicated his documentary as a tribute to those victims that were never identified.
It took me 18 years to decide to look again at the footage I kept in a closet because every time I would start watching those impactful images, I started getting tears in my eyes. It is my humble contribution to the United States theme, WE WILL NEVER FORGET THAT 9/11.
