Synopsis: Two Teresas is a film about two women who share a name and live in the same building. One of them is a youthful Dominican woman with a proposal and exciting career on the horizon, while the other is a senior Italian widow trying to navigate life on her own for the very first time. They form a beautiful bond that bridges their cultural and generational divide, filling needs for one another they didn’t even realize they had. This is a film about friendship, tough decisions, and second chances.

Director's Statement

This story builds on the idea that people of all ages and cultures have much in common. The two main characters forge a friendship that helps them both with the struggles they are facing. This story illustrates that the false divide between cultures and generations can start with a small interaction that opens the door to empathy and understanding. We are all human beings who need the same things, no matter where our families come from or how old we are.
