Director's Statement
There is a tipping point with aging beyond which renders us incapable or less capable of doing the things we used to enjoy. None of us know for sure where we are in relation to that tipping point unless we stretch ourselves and try to do things we aren’t certain we can. Drop In Or Drop Out tells the story of a 65 year old buffalo rancher and former daily surfer’s quest to bring surfing back into his life after having gone 25 years without surfing. This journey did not unfold the way I expected and in many ways that made it a more compelling story and less typical of most adventure stories.
