Tails of Iceland
Synopsis: We began our “Tails of Iceland” journey of creation with the purpose of exploring the differing and varied special relationships between the Icelandic people and their unusual horses. It is about the culture and the connection, and there have been thousands of stories in the hundreds of years since these horses were brought to this fiercely unforgiving and magnificent island. Our goal is to capture some of the tales and a lot of the history, but more importantly, to illustrate how deep this unique kinship goes.

Director's Bio
Photographer, videographer and editor April Anderson is the “Head Instigator” behind the Art As Air Project. She created this project with a full-on desire to explore a wide range of experiences and creativity, showcasing artists and life adventurers in whatever medium best represents them. The goal is outreach within communities of all genres and genders in order to create a “world archive,” shining a light on unity, passion and connection. April’s approach is just as passionate as that of the creators and adventurers whom they profile. Additionally, she has covered events for the Songwriters Hall of Fame for years as a photojournalist (and as their Marketing/Communications Director), as well as conceiving and editing opening video montages for their Annual Induction and Awards Galas.
