Director's Statement
Every 73 seconds an American is sexually assaulted. And for each of those incidents there is most likely a disappointing conversation that follows (in the near or distant future) with a friend, family member, or peer of some sort who doesn’t quite know how to respond to the information. This film explores the dynamic between two such women; Charlotte’s response is practical while all Margot wants is a hug and some validation. Unable to communicate this effectively to each other, the situation escalates, causing both characters more distress.
