Director's Statement

“Necessity is the mother of invention” is an accurate way to describe this production of this short film. I created “The Trunk” during the pandemic and working within the current restrictions forced the idea. So I wrote a story with 2 characters who wouldn’t get close to one another.

Director's Bio

Ray Nomoto Robison graduated from Film School, packed his Pontiac Sunbird and headed to fame and fortune in Hollywood. 48 hours later he was on his way back to his hometown in Montana. The big city life didn’t fit him. After bouncing around a number of media related jobs in Montana and Washington he landed a producer/director position with television station in Southern Oregon. That was 34 years ago and Robison has been there ever since, making movies around his “day-job” and believing that leaving Hollywood after just 48 hours was one of the best decisions of his life.
