Synopsis: AE-1, an artificially intelligent robot designed for human interaction, wakes to find herself in a digital lab. Walsh, a lab tech, seems to be taking her through a routine maintenance check. As Walsh tweaks her emotional receptors while asking a series of questions about a “bad man”, it quickly becomes clear there is more lethal intent for AE-1’s particular talents.

Director's Statement
I realized I wanted to be in ‘show business’ when I was 11 years old, though I didn’t really have an idea of what that meant. I just knew I loved watching Gene Kelly, Judy Garland, Cary Grant, and Katharine Hepburn and I remember thinking, ‘I want to do that!’. As I grew in training and perspective, I came to understand the underlying reason I am called to this industry.
There are a select few movies that were there for me during some of the most emotionally tumultuous times of my life. Watching those films temporarily took me out of my current reality, and provided instead a sense of imagination and play. If I could connect with even a few people through storytelling, to relieve them of their woes and worries, let them know they’re not alone, that would be a life fulfilled.
