Synopsis: The Equinale is a film festival with horse films:
Feature film (in leading and supporting roles), advertising film, documentary and educational films.
Horses are and always have been a passion of people, this emotional bond often goes beyond the death of humans and animals.
Horses were part of human history and still play a major role today.
Even people who have nothing to do with horses can hardly escape the magic of the horse.
The Equinale is for people who love horses and should inspire them and bring these creatures even closer.

This unique event is held directly in the wonderful lake landscape and a dreamland for horse lovers, Northwest Mecklenburg.
+ Neuhoff Castle – a 780 year old castle, which has always been closely connected with the history of horses and is being lovingly restored step by step.
