HOW YOU CAN HELP THE HORSES … Contact your Representatives and ask that they co-sponsor new legislation that will protect America’s Wild and Domestic Horses from slaughter … SAVE AMERICA”S FORGOTTEN EQUINES (SAFE) Act H.R. 3355 “To amend the Horse Protection Act to prohibit the shipping, transporting, moving, delivering, receiving, possessing, purchasing, selling, or donation of horses and other equines to be slaughtered for human consumption, and for other purposes.”

An Enrolled Member of the Cherokee Nation, Direct Descendent of the ‘Trail Of Tears, Neta is an award winning film maker/producer/director and writer. Through her Cherokee heritage Neta has a deep-rooted connection to the spirit of the horse and the land. In 2011 Neta founded Thundering Hooves 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to bring awareness to the many complex issues wild and domestic horses, face today and important environmental issues.
Through film, art projects and special events, Neta is able to further awareness. Her Award Winning Documentary Films have garnered the attention of international audiences. The Official Trailer to Documentary Short Film, ‘A Horses’ Prayer’, is currently airing across the country as a Public Service Announcement for the SAFE Act H.R. 3355. A Bill in Congress that would protect wild and domestic horses from slaughter.
Today Neta stands strong in her fight to protect the environment and continues to be a tireless advocate for wild and domestic horses.
