Synopsis: The team of Equestrian Adventuresses decided to travel the world to film a documentary-series about empowered women working with horses in interesting travel destinations. It’s no coincidence that the island of Lesvos, Greece became the first stop for the film tour. As Adventuress Krystal would soon learn, Lesvos is an off-the-beaten-path destination in Europe and a quiet island in Greece far from the busy crowds of Santorini. And what better way than to discover the island than riding horses in Greece with the amazing adventuress Rita who started the riding center, Ippos Horse Riding & Excursions!
At Equestrian Adventuresses, it is our goal to support and inspire women to travel the world on horseback. This is done by building a strong bond between travelers and stables all over the world as well as providing tips and advice for fellow adventuresses. Krystal Kelly hails from California, but left at 21 years old to work internationally in odd-ball countries such as Bhutan, Egypt, and Romania. She recorded her experiences as personal documentaries, which eventually inspired her to pursue a filmmaking career. Realizing it was more meaningful sharing her adventures with the world, she began filming everything, including her passion for travel, horses, and women empowerment. Krystal promised to visit every country in the world despite the obvious safety risks involved for a blonde, 20-year-old, solo woman. Krystal’s goal leads her to extreme countries to capture the most compelling stories, which the media forgot to tell. Now 30, Krystal continues to travel the world with her husband and two horses.
