English teacher turned filmmaker, Brian Barber first discovered his talents as a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University. Long time film enthusiast, Barber turned his passion into a career when he took a leap of faith and dove into the video production industry leaving teaching to work at DCTV as a Training Specialist. He was just named Production Manager of DC’s Public Access Television station where he continues to hone his craft and work in all aspects of video production. He currently resides in Pasadena, Maryland with his wife Cassandra and three children.

Brian’s first film earned him the credits of winning Best Shorts Competition for Documentary Short, Movie Trailer, Commercial/Infomercial 2016, Winner Hollywood Int’L Independent Documentary for First Time Filmmaker and Documentary Short 2016, Winner Equus Film Festival 2016 for 2 mini music short videos and Selected 2016 California Int’l Shorts for Documentary shorts, Commercials, Scripts, has come a long way in a few years.
