Synopsis: This film explores the emotional connections between a Special Olympics athlete, the horses she rides, and the people who support her training. We observe her challenges and the way she must face loss leading up to her participation in the 2002 USA Games in Orlando, Florida.

Director's Bio
Dr. Lisa Mills is a Professor of Film and Assistant Director of Film & Mass Media in the Nicholson School of Communication and Media at the University of Central Florida. She holds her BA in English from Jacksonville University, her MA in Mass Communication from UCF and her PhD in Political Communication from the University of Florida. Dr. Mills has directed 18 documentary films that have won numerous national and international awards and have screened in festivals all over the world. She is a recipient of UCF’s Luminary Award, and teaches documentary production, documentary theory and history, and graduate research methods for film. Before entering academia in 1999, Dr. Mills was a broadcast journalist and freelance television producer.
