Director's Statement

I strongly believe in empowering women by sharing their stories through visual media. I moved to Ireland from Czech Republic in 2004. Since then I haven’t put the camera down, although my original profession is a journalist. I love writing and listening to people’s stories and I believe it reflects in my visual work. Career choice is a complicated process and more than often we are moulded into professions we aren’t really passionate about. Also, very often, we don’t even know what is possible and what we can do. That is why I decided to share stories of women who can inspire young generations.
