Synopsis: Ernie is a widower with a windfall. He wants his wife, not the cash and comes up with an ingenious plan to find a deserving person to give it to. Tracey and her daughter, Amy, have each other but no money. Could fate and eggs bring them all together?

Director's Bio
Lucy Patrick Ward is an award-winning Filmmaker based in London.
Her work includes short films, music videos, play trailers and commissioned promo films. As a director, writer and producer, her work has garnered success in over 30 international film festivals, and has been selected for both online and broadcast distribution. She is the winner of the IdeasTap Film Showcase: Fiction (in association with SeeSaw Films), and she has been shortlisted for a number of awards: SkyArts/IdeasTap Futures Fund, Creative England “Funny Girls” Production Fund, Creative England “Emerging Talent Fund”.
Her short film, The Reward, written by playwright Joel Horwood and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Crashing) and Anatol Yusef (Boardwalk Empire, Southcliffe), shot on location in New York, was picked up for online and Broadcast distribution after a hugely successful international film festival run.
She has just completed post-production on her latest film, The Nest Egg, starring Paul Copley (Last Tango in Halifax, Downton Abbey) and James Northcote (Life In Squares, A United Kingdom), which is currently on it’s festival run – already with several wins, and official selections. She is currently in pre-production for two more shorts, and development for a feature.
Lucy also enjoys a successful career as a producer and director of digital content, working for a diverse range of clients including Google, Vodafone, Giff Gaff, P&G, Toyota and HSBC.
