Director's Statement
“Tippy Topper” is the result of 2 years of hard work and learning during the University of Central Florida’s Character Animation program, where a team of 15 artists worked together to create and produce an original animated short while learning valuable industry skills.
Director's Bio
Isis Rubio is a filmmaker based in Orlando, Florida. Outside of directing, she has a passion for the entire production pipeline from concept art to compositing. While Isis is not wrapped up in her next project, she can be found spending time with her friends, family, and her dog, and playing classic video games.
Paige Thorsen is a filmmaker based in Orlando, Florida, and a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida’s Character Animation Program. During her debut production, Tippy Topper, she explored roles such as a storyboard artist, layout artist, animator, and compositing artist. Paige loves seeing projects cross the finish line!
When she’s not working, she likes to spend time with friends and family, hiking, or catching up on films.
