Telling heartfelt and compelling narrative stories is what drives me the most when it comes to creating short films. I’m passionate about telling an individual’s story as accurately as possible and capturing their struggles and accomplishments in as true a form as possible. This film was more than that for me. It was about telling the story of one rock climber’s journey through life and accomplishing his dream of climbing a hard rock climb, even though he is an amputee. His courage and tenacity is contagious and you can feel the love and support that surrounds him.

Alton Richardson is a cinematographer based out of Boulder, CO who is passionate about telling creative and compelling stories of pursuits on rock and snow and in the mountains.
