Synopsis: Traveling cross country, Zoe, a deaf mute woman, is brutally savaged and left for dead after trying to save a Native American youth from a gang of rednecks. When a Native shaman finds her clinging to life in a shallow grave he attempts to save her – but something goes horribly wrong. The awoken spirit of a bloodthirsty Apache warrior takes possession of Zoe’s dead body. Now she walks amongst the living, hell-bent on getting revenge. One by one she slaughters the men who murdered her, while the clock ticks away on her quickly decomposing body.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Michael became obsessed with the idea of filmmaking at the early age of ten. Inspired by visionaries such as Michael Mann, Luc Besson, and Ridley Scott, he began an endless pursuit to perfect all aspects of the craft, striving not only to become a director, but a filmmaker. In 2002, Michael wrote and directed his first feature film “Lana’s Rain”, which took a Best Actress Award at the Milan International Film Festival and recieved 3 out of 4 Stars from Roger Ebert. In 2009 and 2010, Mr. Ojeda was both Director and Cinematographer for the final battle sequences on Spike Tv’s hit series “Deadliest Warrior” for over 30 episodes. Orchestrating every battle imaginable from ancient warriors: Samurai, Spartans, Gladiators, and more, to modern warfare: Green Beret’s, Swat, the IRA, and more, it was an invaluable experience, which allowed him to sharpen his skills in directing action on a modest cable tv budget. In 2013, Michael applied his action chops to his second feature, a supernatural action flick, called “Savaged.” The movie had it’s World premier at ”Sitges International Film Festival”, it’s U.S premier at “Screamfest LA”, an Asian Premier at “Busan International Film Festival”, and continues to play at other festivals around the world. Critics have responded favorably, calling Savaged “…the female, The Crow, they have been waiting for.”
